JOB DETAILS:

As a Nurse, you will:
• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
• Conduct Normal Vaginal Deliveries and seek immediate assistance if challenged.
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
• Communicate with Physicians and Other Health workers regarding patient’s health on a need basis.
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Administering non-intravenous medications.
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians. • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders. • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, switching lights etc.)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies and seek immediate assistance from other health workers.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Supervise and train New Nurses and nursing assistants.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
• Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardians
• Administer Vaccinations.
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
• Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members
• Clean, Disinfect, and maintain medical equipment such as BP machines, Stethoscopes, Thermometers etc.
• Report immediately and follow up any issues concerning any equipment e.g. batteries, etc. to the maintenance personnel.
• Prepare patients for any procedures such as theater, ECG etc.
• Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Level of Education:
Associate Degree
