JOB DETAILS:
The Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa is an Institution of Aga Khan Health Service. Kenya which is an Agency of Aga Khan Development Network. The Hospital is part of an in-targeted health system that includes Hospitals and outreach health centers across East Africa. AKHS is one of the most comprehensive private not-for-profit health care systems in the developing world.
The Hospital seeks to recruit ideal candidates for the following position:
1. Nursing Manager, Emergency / Outpatient (OP) Services

Reporting to the Head of Nursing Services, the position holders will provide expert clinical leadership and management within the respective department, by providing a highly safe and supportive environment through optimizing use of staff, premises, equipment, and other resources with the overall objective of establishing, maintaining, and providing care. Key Responsibilities
• Provides leadership and direction for effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient care in the respective unit, while supporting the attainment of the respective department and institutional goals.
• Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided in the respective Department.
• Monitor the respective department's quality of care, relevant fiscal indicators, turn-around time (TAT) and performance of staff to identify improvement areas.
• Participate in the upholding and maintenance of Patient Safety Standards in the respective department and the institution at large in accordance with the hospital's quality guidelines.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN)
• Specialized Certificate in a relevant field
• Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Member of any Nursing Professional Body
• Minimum 4 years of professional and leadership experience in a busy Environment.
