Job Description:
The neurodiagnostic technologist will use specialized equipment to assess and monitor how well a patient’s nervous system is functioning which helps doctors identify and treat various neurological problems.

Duties and Responsibilities.
• Read physician’s test requisitions to determine the question to be answered; explain to patient the testing procedure and the need for the examination.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency for proper set-up of long-term EEG, EMG, NCS and Evoked potential studies Including lead placement and patient preparation.
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation and demonstrate critical thinking and skills to recognize and correct artifact accordingly.
• At the completion of all studies, edits and prepares tests for reading by a neurologist, properly remove electrodes, clean patient/equipment, and document all necessary paperwork
• Demonstrate customer service in all interactions, that is compassionate, courteous, friendly, and demonstrates respect for privacy.
