Job Purpose
• Reporting to the Deputy Director Monitoring & Evaluation, the Komesha TB Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will offer strategic direction and leadership on Monitoring and Evaluation of program activities to ensure transparency, accountability and lead data management processes to monitor the program’s performance. Additionally, he/she will design, implement and manage a functional database for real time data collection.

Qualification, Experience and Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Health Records and Information Management, Public Health, Information Technology or a related course
2. 5 years of relevant professional and progressive experience in leading M & E system design and implementation preferably in a TB/HIV program;
3. Proven record of excellent M & E, leadership and strategic thinking skills;
4. Proficiency in working with statistical packages such Epi Info, STATA, SPSS etc;
5. Demonstrated experience in developing and designing databases is required;
6. Highly motivated, willing to learn, good team work, and able to work under high pressure and within limited time frames;
7. A clear track record of designing M&E systems of similar or complex programs;
8. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level Government of Kenya officials, USAID, faith sector institutions, donors, NGOs, private sector groups and cooperating agencies;
9. Familiarity with USAID programming, rules and regulations and experience managing USAID funded Excellent oral and written communication;
10. Highest level of professionalism and integrity
11. Good knowledge of Social Teachings of the Church
