JOB DETAILS:
CIDR Pamiga, an international development association is recruiting a Microfinance and clean energy Project officer in Kenya.
CIDR Pamiga and AVSI Foundation are implementing the "Green Energy for women and youth resilience in Uganda and Kenya" funded by AfDB which aim is to contribute to decrease GHG emissions by promoting increased access to clean energy in rural areas.
CIDR Pamiga role is to facilitate access to adapted financial services for women and youth in the Sustainable Energy Value Chain.
Scope of work:
The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day Implementation of Project activities in Kenya related to access to financial services, under the supervision of CIDR Pamiga Project manager. .

Qualification and experience
• BSC or MSc degree in finance, economics, sociology or any other relevant subject
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in rural microfinance in Kenya
• At least one experience in the renewable energy sector.

• 2 years contract with a 3-month probation period
