JOB DETAILS:
Marketing Officer will be responsible in supporting the business development department in developing and administering marketing and communication, product development and marketing activities/initiatives.
The marketing activities initiatives includes member recruitment, retention, savings mobilization, activation of dormant members and client assessment with the intention of growing Sacco's market portfolio to achieve financial growth.
Marketing Officer will be the key account manager for identified premium and groups account holders.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, Commerce or Business Management Business related degree, bias in Marketing preferred
• At least 5 -7 years’ experience a similar environment ( preferably in sales and marketing )
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of the internal policies, systems and procedures of aSACCO
• Market intelligence and business development skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and improve the profitability and competitive performance of the business
• Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
