Our Client, the KPA Pension Scheme has been in existence for over 35 years and has a Net asset valued at Kshs. 23.9 Billion and 8,931 members comprising 963 contributing members, 2,714 non-contributing members, 4,175 pensioners and 1,079 pension dependents. The Pension Scheme is undergoing a transformation to streamline its operations in order to realise the envisioned growth and efficiency in service delivery to its members and generation of revenue. To support the Scheme in this transformative drive, the Scheme is seeking to recruit open-minded, self-driven, result oriented individuals of high integrity who will play a critical role in directing the achievement of its strategic objectives. In pursuit of these objectives, the Scheme invites dynamic, experienced and innovative candidates to submit their applications for the position above; .
Job Responsibilities; • Reporting to the Scheme Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of technical, strategic and professional leadership in benefits administration and customer service in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. In addition, the manager must ensure effective claim management maintenance of accurate member records/accounts, client engagement and communication, ethical and good governance practices as well as compliance with regulations in force and support the Scheme to attain set performance targets. The position will also be expected to monitor and control payments to members and ensure benefits are administered in accordance with Trust Deed rules and regulations and payment made to eligible members is computed correctly.

Job Qualification; • The ideal candidate will possess a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Actuarial Science or any relevant or equivalent qualifications from a recognised Institution, must possess relevant professional qualifications (ACII, AIIK, IHRM); and a minimum experience of eight (8) years of which three (3) must be in a management role in the Pensions sector.
