JOB DETAILS:
The Embassy of the United States of America to Kenya, located in Nairobi, is home to the diplomatic mission of the United States to the Republic of Kenya. The embassy opened in central Nairobi on 2 March 1964, when the United States established diplomatic relations with Kenya. .
Duties
• The incumbent is responsible for the data analytics of the Management Section. He/She will serve as Mission Kenya’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) subject matter expert (SME). The SME maintains the most up-to-date and in-depth knowledge and analysis on government ERP systems in order to inspect, clean, transform and model data with the goal of discovering useful information to support sound decision-making. The Management Data Analyst reports to an Information Management Specialist in the Information Programs Center (IPC).

Qualifications:
• All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of ERP systems to provide detailed and satisfactory services to IRM clients. Must have substantial knowledge of using analytical methods involving the use of qualitative and quantitative techniques for metrics analysis. Must be proficient with data analysis and telecommunications technology using industry and or proprietary tools for managing projects. Must be abreast with industry changes and be prepared to quickly learn new technological initiatives as they emerge.
EXPERIENCE:
• 2 years of proven Administrator working experience in either Data Analysis, Business Process Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Quality Management, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Inventory Management, Project Management is required. Experience utilizing business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau along with proficiency in data sciences oriented programming languages such as Python or R.
