 The Following vacancy has arisen in our facility in Karuri, Kenya.
job Title: Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  To plan and carry out planned preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment aiming to achieve maximum plant availability, with a target of zero unplanned downtime
  
•  Hands on experience in maintenance, installation, service and repair of various electrical equipment, motors, control panels,ATS etc.
  
•  To assist in major repairs and installations of new machinery.
  
•  Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

•  A minimum of 5 years‘ experience in repair and preventive maintenance of electrical machinery in a busy manufacturing facility preferably within a Pharmaceutical Industry. 
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution
  
•  Candidates with working knowledge of Electronics, PLC, QMS and Mechanical Engineering will have an added advantage.
  
•  Ability to work under minimal supervision
