JOB DETAILS:
Norbrook Laboratories Limited is one of the world's leading companies within the Pharmaceutical Industry with a reputation for achieving results within a competitive market place. The following vacancy has arisen in our facility in Karuri, Kenya. Job Title: Maintenance Technician. .

  Job Responsibilities:
• To plan and carry out planned preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment aiming to achieve maximum plant availability, with a target of zero unplanned downtime
• Hands on experience in maintenance, installation, service and repair of various electrical equipment, motors, control panels, ATS etc.
• To assist in major repairs and installations of new machinery
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

  Job Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in repair and preventive maintenance of electrical machinery in a busy manufacturing facility preferably within a pharmaceutical industry
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution
• Candidates with a working knowledge of Electronics, PLC and Mechanical Engineering will have an added advantage.
• Ability to ensure that all work is done in line with Health and Safety guidelines
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
