INVITATION TO TENDER

PROCURING ENTITY: MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

STATE DEPARTMENT FOR BASIC EDUCATION

CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE OF ISO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

1. The Ministry of Education invites sealed tenders for the Maintenance of ISO International Standards in the State Department for Basic Education for a another three (3) year cycle as per the terms of reference (ToRs), from 16th February,2023 to 16th February 2026.

2. Tendering will be conducted under Restricted Tendering Method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is restricted to firms accredited by Kenya Accreditation Services (KENAS) for provision the requested services.

3. The prequalified/Identified tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours from 0900 to1600 hours] at the address given below. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 - Services' Requirements, Section V - Description of Services of the Tender Document.

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by the identified firms upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES 1,000.00 in cash. Tender documents obtained/downloaded electronically through Ministry website www.education.go.ke  /PPIP portal will be free of charge.

5. The identified Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to: Head Supply Chain Management, Ministry of Education State Department for Basic Education Jogoo House ‘B’ Harambee Avenue P. O Box 30040-00100 Nairobi to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.

6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 3 rd February,2023 at 11.00 am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.

8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers' designated representatives who choose to attend at 2 nd floor, small boardroom, Jogoo House ‘B’, Harambee Avenue.

9. Late tenders will be rejected.
