JOB DETAILS:
Maintenance Engineer at Mars .

Roles & Responsibilities:
Asset Care
• Ensure that all maintenance activities conform to ESH procedures and policies.
• Ensure all jobs are completed with compliance to Q&FS standards and handover clearance is signed off
• Design, execute and control a robust maintenance program for all factory assets with regular reviews
• Classify all equipment on a ranking and develop the maintenance strategy for each
• Manage a service history data base for all assets
• Plan and manage annual overhaul programs
• Review and advice the required spare-parts to stock and ensure minimal obsolescence in stock.
• Benchmark performance with peers and develop roadmap to world class maintenance
• Execute statutory requirements on all process equipment
• Manage contractors as per contractor management policy
• Ensure compliance to procure to pay policy for all 3P work in maintenance
• Manage and maintain accurate, timely documentation for any equipment modification maintenance records and data for KPI reporting
• Accountable that all planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Periodically measure and analyze key maintenance KPIs.
Line management
• Providing first line technical leadership, guidance and support for his team
• Lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians to deliver optimum value for our customer an day to day basis
• Effectively manage direct reports to ensure maintenance best practices are being followed and developed. Ensure that each report has results-based objectives, timely performance reviews, and appropriate career development counselling & plan.
• Ensure that each maintenance associate has the necessary skills to meet their job expectations and develop a detailed improvement program where necessary.
• Develop and manage annual skills development plan for all technicians
• Lead in succession management of maintenance team
• Provide suitable tools and equipment for effective & safe working
Stakeholders engagement and Customer Care
• Ensure team is strictly following all Safety, Food safety, Sustainability, HACCP and ISO requirements.
• Responsible for the maintenance Budget where he needs to plan, prepare forecast for the total year budget, track and control the maintenance Budget on periodical basis
• Leadership in FMOS within maintenance.
• Effective support of value stream 24x7.
• Own and lead Asset Health Check work stream for NAI site.
• Actively participate and collaborate with all functional areas to provide for continuous improvement activities (Plant Service Level (PSL), TRS, productivity, quality, safety, waste reduction, etc.) within the assigned area.
• Participate in all relevant Engineering Projects in assigned area to ensure that reliability, maintainability, cost effectiveness, and safety requirements are delivered.
• Prepare equipment for and support product development trials and similar plant/market activities.
