JOB DETAILS:
Our client, Salaam Investment Bank Kenya Ltd is the first Shariah compliant investment bank in Kenya having beenlicensed by the Capital Markets Authority in November 2018. They wish to recruit the following key pioneer staff.
LEGAL OFFICER - JOB REF: MN 7759 JOB PROFILE
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Legal Officer will:
o Review SIB business processes and procedures for legal risks and advise on how to at least mitigate them or eliminate them completely;
• Review unique and one-off transactions and dealings of SIB with stakeholders;
o Advise on possible implications of legal environment on SIB's strategy
o Review commercial contracts for legal risks and advise on the same;
PERSON PROFILE
• 6-10 years' experience in legal/company secretarial environment preferably in a financial institution;
• Hold a Certified Public Secretaries (CPS-K) qualification;
• Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
