JOB DETAILS:
The Booth is an Entertainment Talent Management and booking Agency. Started informally in 2008 and Established formally in 2014, The Booth has a vision to grow into the largest supplier of live entertainment for weddings, corporate events and private parties in East and Central Africa. With a growing list of customers and an artist roster of bands, musicians, DJs and entertainers, The Booth is quickly becoming the definitive one-stop-shop for live entertainment booking. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate band practice sessions. Sending out songs to be practiced in advance to band members and ensuring the songs are learned properly during practice.
• Managing the band playlist in gigs so that there is smooth flow in performances.
• Performing with any of our bands at our events on demand.
• Singing songs as a lead vocalist and backing up other singers.
• A lead singer is an entertainer. Besides singing she should be able to dance and engage with the crowd.
• Report on any issues affecting the band in timely fashion.
• Report on the state of the bands performance daily.
• The candidate should be ready to travel around and out of the country from time to time.

Job Qualifications:
• Experience as a Singer. (Advanced level)
• Be a team player.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Needs to be good with people to be able to handle clients who engage with the band.
• Having a ready extensive repertoire of songs is an added advantage.
