JOB DETAILS:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sample collection from patients
• Prepare cultures of tissue samples
• Establish and monitoring programs that ensure data accuracy
• Microscopically examining slides of bodily fluids
• Cross-matching blood for transfusions
• Chemically analyzing blood or urine for toxic components
• Analyze lab reports for accuracy
• Operate and calibrating lab equipment
• Deliver test results to physicians, researchers or patients
• Collect and studying blood samples to determine morphology
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications for the Position
• Diploma Medical Laboratory Science or Bachelor of science in Medical Laboratory Science
• Registered member of KMLTTB
• At least 1 year of experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Keen on detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Compassion/ empathy
• High level of Integrity
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
