JOB DETAILS:

LVMV Pre-Sales Engineer Junior
Responsibilities
• Engineer to prepare optimised technical offers in response to Requests for Proposals, Tenders for LV, MV, mini grid, fibre optics or other turnkey projects
• Perform site survey to quantify the scope of works
• Design and Engineering of LV/MV distribution lines, substations, transformers and others as required
• Prepare Cost evaluation and pricing for tender
• Project follow-up, BoQ, Project Organisation, Sourcing, Budget, Planning, Tools & Equipment,... • Evaluate, vet and approve route surveys and designs done by survey teams
• Ensure survey and design are in line with local legal regulations regarding wayleaves, environment, social, engineering, among others
• Guide various teams during implementation to ensure installation works are as per designs, standards and proposed specifications
• Explore and research new methods, technology, solutions to keep up to date with the market and provide best & cost-effective technical solutions
• Travel within the country or internationally based on projects or tenders as required
• Perform other operations tasks from time to time as and when required

Qualifications
• BSC or BE Electrical Engineering Registered Engineer (EBK) Energy Regularoty Commission Class C1, T3. other higher licenses would be an added advantage KPLC Training and classes.
