JOB DETAILS:
A rapidly growing Micro finance Company offering logbook loans is looking for an ambitious, dynamic, focused and self-driven Sales Team leader who is also a team player.
Reporting to the Credit Administration Manager-LBF, the Credit Admin officer shall be responsible for the efficient administration of the loan processing/appraisal in accordance with the credit policies of the company. .
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for appraisal of logbook applicants and ensure it meets the credit policy of the Logbook product and ensure the client’s file has full documentation and well arranged.
• Responsible for arrangement of Search/Transfer of logbooks/Collateral to Kenya Revenue Authority for joint registration and ensure receipts/safe custody of the collateral.
• Responsible for ensuring all tracking devises are fitted to the vehicle used as a security and actively monitor throughout before and after disbursement of the loan.
• Ensure that security used to secure the loan is comprehensively insured and company’s interest noted in the cover policy by the insurance company before and during loan tenure/term.
• Submit captured loans that meet credit policy to Credit Admin Manager-LBF for final onward approval
• Compute payment schedules, updating the borrower’s data base, ensuring proper postings of contracts after disbursements.
• Arrange for discharge and release of securities for clients who have cleared their loans as per credit policy.
• Responsible for general customer service of department’s clients.
• Work with the finance department to ensure timely loan disbursements and statement updates
• Responsible for any additional tasks instructed by Management from time to time.

Job Education Requirements:
• Higher Diploma in co-operative management/Credit management / Banking / Business Administration or any other business related.
• At least Two (2) years relevant working experience preferably in a financial institution.
• Sound knowledge of the product/services.
• Prior knowledge/experience on logbook financing preferably from a reputable microfinance institution
• Knowledge of credit principles
