Our client, a leading Security Print company with a huge market footprint in Kenya and East Africa seeks to recruit candidates who are dynamic, results oriented energetic and self-driven for the position of SALES EXECUTIVE (Key Accounts Manager)
Overall purpose of the Job
The main purpose of this role is to sell products and generating revenue by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions. The incumbent maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Key Deliverables for the position
• Implement product marketing, consumer & distribution strategies.
• Achieve Sales targets.
• Manage/lead key account relationships.
• Responsible for marketing activities at trade and consumer level.
Key ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analysing sales options.
• Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales performance information.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards across various product and service portfolio.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Review sales performance.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Person Specifications (Qualifications, Skills and Competences)
Education:
• At least diploma in Sales Related Field, a Degree will be ab added advantage.
Experience:
• At least 5 Years’ work experience in Security Printing or closely related field.
Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Proficient in IT skills, specifically MS Office Suite.
• Numerical skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: Associate Degree
