Field Operations Lead

The Job

This is an essential role for Triggerise, as the Field Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring the successful and efficient implementation of the field operations in Mombasa, Kenya. You ensure that all program activities are implemented according to donor agreements and strategy. You’ll also be responsible to:

  •  Managing all programme day to day activities and ensuring that they align with Triggerise’s strategic plans.
  •  Carry out routine needs assessments and gaps and make proposals to improve service delivery and demand generation expansion to the target groups.
  •  Working closely with the Country Lead on giving operational insight to all strategies and projects, and team performance.
  •  Use data to analyze field operations and come up with innovative ways to resolve any inefficiencies at the field level.
  •  You offer support in identifying opportunities for strategic collaborations that will expand our current footprint and develop a robust service provider and demand generation network that includes a clear referral pathway .
  •  Monitor capacity building (formal/ informal with supportive supervision) to mobilizers including TOT and training on needs and gaps areas.
  •  Facilitate the coordination of stakeholders; including implementing partners, at the field level as needed through an effective coordination mechanism such working group and assist for improving RH service delivery;
  •  Strengthen the relationship with the relevant stakeholders and government agencies by following through actions to ensure an enabling environment for implementation of activities in close collaboration with the partnerships officer.

You are a supportive leader that pays close attention to detail, with a strong focus on building high-performing teams, and building capacity within teams.

Requirements

  •  3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  •  Experience in a field operations position within programs across Ethiopia
  •  Experience in mental health programming (mental health program or clinical e xperience )
  •  Ability to manage stakeholders
  •  Ability to build capacity within a team with a focus on achieving KPIs
  •  Strong communication skills and good report writing ability
  •  Based in Mombasa, Kenya

 

M&E Specialist

The Job

The M&E Specialist design and execute a rigorous measurement and evaluation framework that ensures we effectively measure the impact of our programs. This framework provides the organisation with clear measures for success and articulation of our hypothesised pathway to impact.

  •  With the help of M&E Lead and our Data Team, you design frameworks that helps us generate insights, including descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics for your specific market.
  •  In collaboration with program managers, technical support, and data analysts you’ll conduct regular data quality audits (DQAs) of the reported data. You’ll also maintain any standard health data information systems (HIS) such as DHIS if available.
  •  You ensure the quality of our data through supervision of data collecting activities as well as selecting and maintaining appropriate data platforms and technologies that capture and organise our data.
  •  You’ll also train and support the organisation in how they can optimise use of data in their daily work as well as how to set up a programme or project that will deliver reliable, high quality data.

About you

You are a hands-on person that can independently identify our needs and then build and execute processes and systems that set us up for future growth. You are also able to translate them into real-world explanations and have the capacity to build good interpersonal relations that help you implement your findings.

Requirements

  •  A degree or relevant working experience in a similar field.
  •  3-5 years of working experience in a similar area.
  •  Experience supporting counties in monitoring and evaluation focused on HIV and SRH areas.
  •  You can oversee and structure complex processes.
  •  You are fantastic with statistics, quantitative research, and data modeling.
  •  Proven high-level proficiency in statistical analysis and management of large data sets using excel and SPSS.
  •  You are preferably based in Nairobi.

 

Research Lead 

The Job

The Research Lead will provide professional expertise and skills in research methodology, research design, data collection, data analysis, and the interpretation and presentation of research and evaluation results to assist the Triggerise Research Department to achieve the organizational strategic goals. This will be achieved by;

  •  Managing the externally commissioned research partners to ensure that all research activities undertaken on behalf of Triggerise are conducted in a timely fashion, in line with the overall aims, values of the organization and with policies and procedures.
  •  Designing, executing and implementing research projects that systematically investigate the impact of our platform using quasi-experimental or experimental study designs.
  •  Leading the development of research protocols for submission to Institutional Review Boards (IRB), including development of study instruments and ethics procedures.
  •  Supporting other parts of the organization directly on research and analytical questions, in order to remove barriers that stand in the way of impact and development at Triggerise.

About You

You have excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a range of tasks when facing competing deadlines. You have a clear commitment to making a leading contributor to the research environment and producing high quality research outputs.

Requirements

  •  Postgraduation in behavioral or health sciences, public health, sociology, population studies/demography, statistics, or related discipline will be an advantage
  •  A minimum of 3 years of experience in a research focused role
  •  Experience in designing and implementing research programmes for ad-hoc or bespoke projects
  •  Experience of analyzing large, complex survey datasets
  •  Proven qualitative and quantitative skills, with familiarity with related analysis packages STATA, SPSS, NVivo or ATLAS.ti
  •  You have experience of communicating your findings in a range of forums.
  •  Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills in English
  •  You are based in Nairobi or Mombasa.
