Generator Technician

We, LED Power Technologies (E.A.) K LTD, are looking for an Experienced Generator Technician whose role will be to assist in the maintenance and repair of generators and related equipment, advancing our mechanical systems, performing generator installations, servicing, repair and maintenance, and other related project implementations.

Duties cover various engineering tasks such as maintenance of generators and other related electrical equipment, collaborating with technicians and specialists to resolve raised incidents, and performing calculated decisions to ensure our systems meet global safety and environmental standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • MUST have at least 5 Years’ experience in maintenance and repair of generators.
  • MUST be knowledgeable in ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.
  • MUST have vast exposure working with electrical power supply systems, electronics, and control systems.
  • Actively collaborate with other on-site technicians and specialists to resolve raised incidents while gearing to complete project tasks according to customers’ expectations.
  • Ensure our systems meet global safety and environmental standards.

Business Development Executive 

LED POWER TECHNOLOGIES (EA) K LTD is looking for a passionate and experienced Business Development Executive to assist in the process of business development within the company by generating business leads through tendering. The successful candidate will work closely with other company executives and management teams, participate in meetings with potential business partners/clients and maintain existing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have a Minimum of 5-Years in Tendering (especially in the Electrical and Solar PV Contracting Industry)
  • Should be capable to execute tender releases as assigned by management and also capable to monitor and execute tender releases in the region which are mostly published online or via specific client website portals.
  • Should maintain good recordkeeping of upcoming tenders highlighting their requirements and closing dates among other key emphases as directed by management.
  • Should cross-check tender requirements against available company documents and provide timely reports of the same.
  • Curate our company profile and customize it for each client’s specific business needs.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow-up by email or phone.
  • Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole.
  • Maintain good recordkeeping of client interactions, the products or services they inquire about, and any other valid conversions made during every experience with them.
  • Required to carry out related office duties as advised by management.
  • And we also look forward to working with fluent English and Swahili-speaking individual who can communicate well with clients through phone or email

Project Coordinator/Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering field and previous experience in HVAC works.
  • Experience – 5 years’ proven experience as a supervisor or coordinator in a project management environment.

Among the duties and responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the effective delivery of project tasks according to the duties allocated and the project plan, while also making note of and escalating identified risks.
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence, health and safety, environmental cautions, and quality assurance, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunities for feedback and exceptional service.
  • Develop productive working relationships with colleagues in support of the delivery of contracted works as well as the learning and growth of project teams.
  • Effectively update and maintain documentation of project works for purposes of referencing and auditing.
  • Expected to campaign coordination, and outcome reporting and tracking.
  • Expected to execute field operational processes.
  • Identify and utilize opportunities to assess and improve our overall performance in contracted projects.
  • Organize and arrange the logistical requirements during client meetings and projects’ bills of quantities in an effective and efficient manner according to predefined standards. And is also required to manage work site tools and assets.
  • Review and monitor compliance against the organization’s rules, codes of practice, business ethics, internal guidelines, and client recommendations, principles, and legislation.
  • The successful candidate will also have staff administrative roles and is expected to follow directives from the Managing Director, and also from the Chief Operations Officer/Operations and Business Development Lead.

Electrical & Generator Technicians

We, LED Power Technologies (E.A.) K LTD, are looking for Experienced Electrical & Generator Technicians whose key responsibilities will be the maintenance of generators and other related equipment, advancing our electrical products, systems, and applications, and performing electrical installations, and project implementations.

The duties cover various engineering tasks such as SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE OF GENERATORS and other related electrical equipment, collaborating with site technicians and specialists to resolve raised incidents, and performing calculated decisions to ensure our systems meet global safety and environmental standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • MUST have at least 5 Years’ experience in both MAINTENANCE OF GENERATORS and ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING as well.
  • MUST be knowledgeable in ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.
  • MUST have vast exposure working with Electrical Power Supply Systems, Electronics, and Control Systems.
  • Should be experienced in estimating, budgeting, designing, and project managing electrical installation contracts.
  • Capable of preparing material schedule summary reports, electrical plans, technical specifications, line diagrams, and other project documentation for management review.
  • Having a Valid Driving License is an added advantage.

Female Sales Representative Intern

Responsibilities:

  • After orientation, the Sales Representative Intern will cover various duties among some key aspects of customer relations such as:
  • Manage and respond to customer walk-ins and inquiries, inbound calls, texts, online chats, and emails.
  • Assist customers with their purchase orders by having them processed and delivered.
  • Provide solid information to potential customers regarding our products and services.
  • Empathize, listen to, and understand customers, and recommend products or services to suit their needs.
  • Maintain good recordkeeping of the customers you interact with, the products or services they inquire about, and any sales conversions made during every experience with them.
  • The candidate will be recommended to use POS-related systems.
  • She will also be recommended to track, document, and share data and trends, relative to our products and services.
  • And she will also be required to carry out related office duties as advised by management.

Baseline Requirements:

  • Continuing college students are encouraged to apply for this internship. The candidates must have covered any of the following units in their respective courses: Business Management, Business Commerce, Finance, Sales and Marketing, or Customer Relation.
  • We require someone detailed, action-oriented, a keen listener, computer literate, a social media enthusiast, a problem-solver, and someone capable of assisting our customers throughout the entire customer relations and purchase cycle, from choosing appropriate products and making recommendations, to simple demonstrations and testing of our products.
  • The successful candidate must show commitment and resourcefulness, and, in addition, must be keen on meeting deadlines and fulfilling projected weekly/monthly quotas.
