Navision Presales Engineer

  • Salary RangeKSh 50,000 - KSh 100,000/month

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Navision Presales Engineer. The Overall person who will be responsible for technical design for Navision for different clients, determining modification requests and writing specifications for their development, testing and provide end user training for the functionalities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical and functional knowledge of Dynamics NAV/D365, as well as the ability to give client presentations and demonstrations.
  • Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed.
  • Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas.
  • Create new and modify existing customizations and integrations as requested by the business.
  • Perform data conversions, debug system problems, and craft resolutions.
  • Technical liaison to business groups for application support.
  • Training of End Users and carrying out User Acceptance testing.
  • Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end user support
  • Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality
  • Work with the Project Managers, Business Analyst and Consultants to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned task.
  • Creation of technical documentation for all customizations and integrations

Education / Experience Needed

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Dynamics NAV on 2016 or newer versions or similar related experience and training in programming development for Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365, SQL, SAP, or NetSuite is a big plus.

Requirements Skills

  • Preferred working knowledge of C/AL programming language. Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration and Maintenance fundamentals.
  • Experience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with Dynamics NAV.
  • Outstanding communication and administration skills are a must.
  • Excellent presentation and strong interpersonal skills.

Marketing Manager

Our client is a registered company in Kenya that deals with selling and after sales service of IT Products is looking to hire a competent Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will be in charge of the sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing clients by continuously furnishing them with current information on new products.
  • Aggressively sourcing for new clients.
  • Conducting market research on the competitors and market dynamics and advising the management.
  • Identifying new business potentials and developing business for new clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding set targets.
  • Source, build and develop prospects so as to achieve sales volumes.
  • Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with the service given.

  • Keep abreast of the ever changing market, rules and regulations governing the industry.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
  • 3 Years of experience in sales and marketing; 1 year in managing a team.
  • Digital Marketing skills will be an added advantage.

Branch Manager

JOB PURPOSE

A Transport and Logistics company is seeking to recruit a Branch Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by focusing on maximizing market penetration and profitability. Generate business, achieve targets and managing all business and administration aspects related to a branch office including but not limited to Operations, sales, quality, credit / collections and costs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Set the branch office goals, operational plan and budget in coordination with the Country Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to the corporate image, culture, and operations standards related to the branch.
  • Coordinate with the station HR to recruit talented employees.
  • Ensure proper training to all staff in the branch to enable the staff to conform to all Company standards.
  • Controlling the branch costs in general and abide with budget constrains
  • Report to the Country Manager on the status of the office, employees, clients, and compare that with the set plans and budgets.
  • Ensure proper customer service to clients.
  • Follow up on all customer requests and ensure resolution of any pending problem.
  • Ensure that all the branch clients’ accounts are reconciled, and dues collected on time as per the guidelines set by the Country accounts manager.
  • Control the expenses and overheads of the branch.
  • Visit customers to enhance relationships and explore new business opportunities.
  • Achieve the set budget & Targets.

Basic/Job Reqquirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  2. MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
  3. 5 years’ experience in the Transport and Logistics Industry in a similar position.
  4. Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Proven ability to lead a team to meet targets.
  7. Excellent leadership skills.
  8. Experience setting sales goals.
  9. Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  10. Negotiation skills.
