Content Researcher

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the writing & audio-visual production team to identify research needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Interpreting research specifications and developing a work plan that satisfies requirements
  • Conducting desktop research, and using books, journal articles, newspaper sources, questionnaires, surveys, polls and interviews to gather data
  • Identifying market trends and briefing the team to inform development of new content.
  • Recording findings by taking written notes and using appropriate software
  • Establishing a quality database of sources and content that can be cited by the writing team
  • Writing proposals and delivering presentations when required
  • Identifying topics relevant to the target audience

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • A bachelor’s degree in research or similar
  • You are proficient with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong statistical and mathematical aptitude and data modeling skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Copywriter

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Writing and delivering (SEO) blogs and articles
  • Researching market developments
  • Communicate and cooperate with a writing team in content planning for both social media and written publications
  • Editing web pages and brochures
  • Proofreading ebooks
  • Updating website content
  • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission
  • Organize writing schedules to complete content within deadlines.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • You are proficient with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Video Editor

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with the director to determine production vision
  • Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list
  • Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
  • Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
  • Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
  • Inserting dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics and special effects
  • Ensuring the project follows a local sequence
  • Consulting with the director and production team throughout the project
  • Creating the final cut for broadcasting

Requirements

  • You have a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies or related field.
  • You have previous work experience as a Video Editor
  • You have Hands on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid, Media Composer, LIghtworks and Premier
  • You have creative and artistic skills
  • You are familiar with 3D composition and special effects
  • You have a portfolio of completed edited productions
  • You have the ability to work on a tight schedule
  • You have the ability to translate ideas into complete projects
  • You are a team player.

Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

  • Generate and deliver high quality design and layout of internal and external publications, both on demand/ad hoc, as well as following a predetermined communications annual delivery calendar (containing scheduled publications such as annual reports)
  • Deliver the graphic design and layout of formal publications (such as annual reports)
  • Visualization of branding and marketing strategies in company style, campaigns, communications, and digital media
  • Creation of the graphic design for the company websites
  • Graphic design of promotional materials and digital publications: ensure correct layout, typography, style, images, sizing, etc
  • Editing visual materials (images and videos)
  • Ensuring unified company style across all (digital) media: websites, digital publications, and print media
  • Design and create layout for publications/media such as brochures, stationary, web pages, roll ups, digital banners, logos, flyers, reports, blogs, etc, etc)
  • Manage, edit, and maintain the visual libraries of images and videos in line with company policies and style, for all employees to use
  • Ensure short turnaround times for high quality content
  • Collaborate with channel-specific marketing and sales teammates (blogging, email, social media, investment and B2B sales, etc.) to identify areas for growth
  • Ensure adherence to company branding and communication policies and guidelines for all generated publications
  • Maintain quality control over all generated publications
  • Maintain a structured database of content and final products
  • Analyze and recommend implementation of improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous working in graphic design for a minimum of 2 years (or equivalent competence), with a strong portfolio
  • Good understanding of the use of typography, color palettes, composition, and design principles
  • Excellent visual design skills with an understanding of the interaction between the system and the reader/user
  • Excellent skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and/or other critical design tooling is required
  • Domain expertise in graphic design best practices
  • High standards of excellence and attention to detail
  • Must be able to deal with ad hoc requests and design inputs
  • Experience with Google Suite, Slack, and Monday will be an added advantage

Production Manager

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the larger team in content planning
  • Generate ideas for new projects that align with the mission of the organization
  • Develop scripts for projects
  • Ensure high quality delivery of audio visual content
  • Provide leadership to the production team - during pre-production, production & post-production phases
  • Travel on location to support the filming production activities
  • Create a budget and schedule for projects.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in film production or another relevant field
  • You have prior experience with film production
  • You have excellent time management skills
  • You have strong interpersonal skills
  • You have the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
  • You are willing to work irregular hours
  • You are available to travel regularly.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of writers and coordinate with freelance contributors
  • Ensure that content meets the client’s needs, and follows our inhouse style guide
  • Organize, modify and update existing content
  • Manage a busy workload according to deadline
  • Analyze data and analytics and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.
  • Verify content and information
  • Represent the organization at launches, meetings, and press events.
  • Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax
  • Work with the graphic design team to ensure a user-friendly experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • To excel in this role, you will have experience in developing and editing content, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications or related field
  • You have excellent command of the English language
  • You have writing, copy editing and proofreading experience
  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are highly organized and detail oriented
  • You are proficient in desktop publishing software
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms
