INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR  TECHNICAL & PERFORMANCE AUDITS OF KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICE ROAD  MAINTENANCE LEVY FUNDED PROGRAMMES FOR FYs 2021/22 – 2023/24.

TENDER NUMBER KRB/179/2021-2022/ PKGTA4

Kenya Roads Board has set aside funds in its operations budget and/or has received financing from RMLF  towards the cost of Consulting Services for Provision of Technical and Performance Audits.

1. Kenya Roads Board now invites proposals to provide CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR TECHNICAL &  PERFORMANCE AUDITS OF KWS ROAD MAINTENANCE LEVY FUNDED PROGRAMMES FOR FYs 2021/22  – 2023/24. More details on the Services are provided in Section 5 (Terms of Reference) of the Request for  Proposal (RFP).

2. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is open to Civil Engineering Consulting Firms registered by the Engineers  Board of Kenya (EBK) or equivalent recognized by EBK.

3. The detailed Request for Proposals (RFP) document is available for downloading on the Kenya Roads Board  website: https://www.krb.go.ke or www.tenders.go.ke at no cost. The documents can also be inspected and/ or obtained from Supply Chain Management Office on 3rd Floor, Kenya Re Towers, Off Ragati Road during  working days between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs 500.00 for each  tender. Payment shall be made by cash or by bankers’ cheque in the cashier’s Office.

4. A pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday 18th November, 2021 at 2.30 pm via Zoom. Bidders to  forward the names and email address of nominees for sharing of the meeting credentials to info@krb.go.ke and/or the contact emails provided in the RFP Data Sheet 

5. Bidders should also constantly check the KRB website (https://www.krb.go.ke) for any addendums and  other updates. 

Completed Tender Documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked “TENDER NO KRB/179/2021- 2022 FOR PKGTA4 ” should be addressed, submitted and/or delivered to:

6. Or deposited in the Tender box situated on 3rd Floor, Kenya Re Towers so as to be received on or before 9th  December, 2021 at 12.00 noon. Late tenders shall not be accepted.

7. The proposals will be opened in KRB Boardroom on 3rd Floor immediately on the same day in the presence  of Bidders or their representatives who may wish to attend. Any proposals received after the closing time  shall be returned unopened.
