JOB DETAILS:
Investor Relations Officer, Sales & Marketing

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responding to Members and Investors questions on existing investors’ contracts and or SIC’s obligations to Members and or Investors.
• Develop investor confidence and belief in the SIC’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value.
• To implement investor relations strategy and framework.
• Contribute to equity research and investor relationships.
• Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team.
• Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could affect the business.
• Support members and investors quarterly meetings and or conference calls.
• Work with legal department to ensure compliance on regulatory matters.
• Present SIC’ image and live the prescribed values.
• Support preparation of SIC’s Annual Report.
• Assist with the updating of member information details.
• Assist in the plans for sensitizing Members products.
• Assist in creating new members in the system and updating the Finance Team on the same.
• Assist the Team Leader on training of the members dedicated relationship managers.
• Organize recruitment drives to reach out to potential members and bring them into SIC.
• Develop ways and means of promoting of thrift, savings and investments among members of SIC.
• Develop Launch and Implement Member Financial Education and Investment program.
• Assist in shares trading.

Reporting roles
• Tracking, collecting, and interpreting customer and member data, financial figures and reporting.

Professional & Academic Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Commerce or any related course.
• Good articulation of English and Kiswahili
• Fine understanding of the business environment

Knowledge and Skills
• At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Internal motivation, positivity, proactivity and taking initiative
• Advanced computer and excel application skills
• Strong customer relationship management skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
