Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting in undertaking audit assignments
• Preparing internal audit working papers
• Recording proceedings of entry and exit meetings with auditors
• Collecting and analyzing data and statistics
• Verifying and certifying periodic financial returns such as pending bills returns, expenditure returns and revenue returns
• Carrying out spot checks on areas such as revenue and receipt collection points

Requirements for Appointment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution/CPA(K);
• A member of a professionally recognized institute (ICPAK/IIA); and
• Proficiency in computer applications.
