JOB DETAILS:
Implementation Department
The Manager Projects will be the primary contact for the project delivery in project implementation division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overseeing smooth operations of Implementation project division;
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget.;
• Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
• Coordinate with internal and external customers for the flawless execution of projects
• Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
• Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
• Oversee all sales and Negotiations to ensure an attractive product portfolio, strategic sales initiatives with clients
• Understanding and continuously developing the value proposition for the various stakeholders.
• Coordinate, manage and track team members and activities to ensure delivery of goals effectively and efficiently
• Evaluate and optimize operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness in the department
• Lead projects through a complete lifecycle,
• Control team performance,
• Ensure that all projects are accepted and closed by the customer,
• Ensure practices and principles of Quality management system are followed as documented in the QMS
• Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bsc in Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• 8 years’ experience as Project Manager in telecommunication industry
• Master’s degree is an added advantage
• Strong experience in the Network roll-out, network upgrades and Telecommunication infrastructure
• Knowledge and Experience in various Multi-Vendor Equipment and Transmission systems including NOKIA, Huawei, Ericsson, Aviat among others.
• Knowledge of Network Infrastructure, including 2G, 3G and 4G networks
• Expertise in RAN/Core mobile networks, Building fiber
• Telecommunications protocols, such as SS7, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, UTRAN, VoIP, SIP, etc
• Must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

OTHER SKILLS :
• Ability to read and Interpret Construction and Telecom Installation drawings
• A solid understanding of business cases and risk management processes
• Project monitoring and evaluation Strong leadership and engagement skills
