iGRAVITY IS LOOKING FOR AN IMPACT AND/OR FINANCIAL ANALYST BASED IN NAIROBI, KENYA
iGravity is an advisory firm specialised in private sector engagement, impact investment, and innovative finance solutions. We deeply believe in the catalytic role of public and philanthropic resources and work closely with development actors and impact investors to design, implement and scale partnership and financing structures that mobilise capital and solutions for a sustainable and equitable world.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an analyst, your role and responsibilities can be shaped based on your background and motivation and we imagine that you will support the core team with tasks such as:
• Conducting research, including qualitative and quantitative analyses, related to project deliverables across a wide range of impact topics such as migrants and refugees, financial inclusion, affordable housing, and quality education
• Design of innovative financing structures that aim to mobilise private finance to address some of the world’s most pressing issues
• Contributing to sourcing, assessing, structuring and closing transactions with impact enterprises on behalf of clients
• Supporting the impact assessments of funds and bonds
• Engaging with existing and new partners, including development agencies, NGOs, foundations, investment managers, and impact-oriented private sector actors
• Providing general operational and administrative support for on-going advisory projects
• Researching, drafting, editing and formatting project ideas and proposals in the areas of development cooperation, innovative finance and impact investments

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for an independent team player, who is eager to start or shift their career towards the exciting world of impact investments and innovative finance.
The most important attributes and skills you bring are:
• A desire to learn and further develop your skills and talents on the topics of impact investing, social innovation and development finance
• A capacity for organising your own time and tasks, including taking responsibility while keeping a transparent and open dialogue with your team
• Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to process large amounts of information and data from multiple sources
• Convincing communication skills, with full proficiency in English and mastering MS Office

In addition, you may bring:
• Relevant sector expertise (e.g. migrants and refugees, affordable housing, quality education, or conservation)
• Experience in finance and direct investments
• Familiarity with entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship ecosystems and support structures
• Understanding of the development sector and development actors

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely with Anne Katrine who is also based in Nairobi and you will become part of a dynamic team and organisation with colleagues in Kampala, Zurich, Milan, Madrid, and Washington.
