JOB DETAILS:

As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and security protocols to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and data protection. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify IT requirements, implement solutions, and provide technical support to enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization. Additionally, you will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and peripherals, to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
• Administer and support various IT systems and applications, including ERP software, CRM systems, email servers, and collaboration tools, to optimize functionality and user experience.
• Implement and enforce robust security measures, firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls to protect the company's data, networks, and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Establish and maintain data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical business data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data breaches.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize disruptions and downtime.
• Evaluate IT hardware, software, and service providers, procure equipment and services as needed, and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with service level agreements.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to govern the use of IT resources, protect sensitive information, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with management and departmental heads to assess IT needs, develop technology roadmaps, and prioritize IT projects and investments to support business objectives and drive innovation.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on IT policies, procedures, and best practices, and promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and digital literacy across the organization.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an IT Officer, IT Administrator, or similar role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems administration, network security, and data management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network devices.
• Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, and collaboration tools is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
