JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking to hire an experienced and confident IOT engineer who will help us innovate, maintain and improve our company’s sensor products to sustainably grow revenues in line with the company’s objectives.

Minimum Requirements
• Degree in Mechatronic Engineering
• 2 years working experience in a similar position
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Organized, ability to plan and coordinate activities
• Ability to work with little or no supervision, and efficiently meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Job Description:
• Testing hardware
• Designing circuits
• Advising on hardware to buy
• Writing documentation on the company’s IoT solutions like user manuals
• Maintaining IoT software stack
• Assisting in fieldwork
• Offering technical support to clients
• Making mechanical designs and fabrications e.g casings
• Talking with product manufacturers to ensure we get the right items
• Programming hardware
• Assisting in creating and managing servers
• Advising on embedded and fringe hardware
• Building automation tools
• Maintaining hardware

Reporting to: Head of Tech
Location: Nairobi
Additional information
Appraisals will be conducted on a quarterly basis strictly focused on set targets
