JOB DETAILS:
The INEE is seeking a Coordinator for Inclusive Education (IE), which will be responsible for coordinating and strengthening INEE’s IE initiatives for the network as well as supporting the activities of the INEE IE Task Team (IETT)! The position will be hosted by IRC and will report to the INEE Thematic Areas Team Lead and sit within the team comprising Gender, Distance Education, Early Childhood Education (ECD) and Psychosocial Support and Social-Emotional Learning (PSS-SEL).

This position will serve as technical lead on IE and provide overall coordination, project management, and support for the network’s relevant initiatives. This includes coordinating with the Secretariat and other network spaces, recruiting and supervising consultants and interns to deliver on IE initiatives, monitoring financial expenditure on activities, reporting on grants, and providing oversight on all IE network space projects. The role requires someone who can continually identify, document, prioritize and mitigate day-to-day project items, issues and risks and effectively support the Secretariat.

The Coordinator works to support INEE members and the Secretariat through its core functions: community building, convening diverse stakeholders, knowledge management, advocating and amplifying ideas and knowledge, facilitating collective action, and providing members with the resources and support they need to carry out their work on EiE.

Major Responsibilities:
• In alignment with INEE’s functions, INEE’s Strategic Framework, and annual work plan and in close collaboration with all of the Secretariat, major responsibilities for this role include:
• INEE Strategic Priority (SP) I: Thought leadership and advocacy:
• Engage as a technical specialist and global advocate on IE; represent the network at conferences, meetings, and forums. Work closely with the Advocacy and Policy team to support advocacy and uptake of evidence on IE. Convene, coordinate, and co-lead the IETT, including:
• Supporting and enabling TT members to successfully facilitate work plans and implement group priorities;
• Providing administrative support, ensuring membership listservs and tracking documents are up-to-date;
• Ensuring quality communications and consistent follow-up with the IETT and Secretariat, and externally with relevant INEE constituents;
• Providing technical oversight and quality control on IE product development;
• Coordinating activities and events prioritized by the IETT to promote resources (e.g., webinars and meet-ups);
• Disseminating INEE’s IE tools and resources;
• Contribute to INEE's overall strategic direction, making links between programs, operations, and language communities when and where appropriate.
• INEE SP II: Strengthen capacities:
• Moderate and promote engagement in the IE Slack channel of the Community of Practice. Ensure that IE is integrated into all INEE resources, trainings, and activities. Identify technical assistance needs among staff and network members to inform priority thematic areas and strategic capacity building initiatives. Provide technical and substantive support for INEE and partner events and forums, such as policy roundtables, discussion forums, and global consultations. Liaise with the Capacity Building Coordinator, ensuring alignment of any capacity-building IE activities to the organization's Capacity Building Strategy.
• INEE SP III: Provide, curate and organize knowledge and resources:
• Manage INEE’s online presence in relation to IE, maintaining up to date IE resource collections, blogs, etc. on the INEE website. Provide technical input to and review network products, including tools, learning materials, and published articles. Lead and track publication development and management, including copyediting, translation, design, and printing of resources, tools, and other materials generated by the TT. Provide regular updates on activities and achievements in this area of work to the Team Lead, Director, and Steering Group.
• INEE SP IV: Strengthen and diversify membership:
• Ensure that IE-focused network spaces are representative of the network's diverse global membership, and employ inclusive and participatory approaches in facilitation work. Ensure that any IE-focused events are open and accessible. Contribute to other strategic work to support the INEE network and secretariat (i.e. anti-racism work, Country Focal Points initiative, HelpDesk, INEE network space restructuring etc.) in agreement with the Team Lead and Director.
• Strategy, Finance, Administration, and Partnership:
• Lead all aspects of tracking, expenditure, and reporting of funds for IE activities. Provide general support to grant processes, including drafting and reviewing grant proposals and reports. Lead on narrative donor reporting on relevant grants in conjunction with the INEE Grants Manager. In collaboration with organizational leadership, provide technical support in the drafting of INEE strategies, project plans, concept notes and proposals, program documents, internal and external reports, and other documents as requested. Provide general support to the Team Lead and other Secretariat members as requested.

Education & Job Requirements
• A university degree (Bachelor’s or above) in a relevant field: inclusive or special education, international policy, development, or migration studies, business administration, etc. Advanced university degree (Master’s or above) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of directly relevant professional experience managing cross-functional projects of medium complexity.
• Knowledge and expertise in project management software, methodologies and tools, resource management practices.
• Strong theoretical and practical background in the field of education in humanitarian contexts
• Strong technical knowledge and field experience in IE &/or special education, particularly in developing, fragile, or emergency contexts.
• Experience utilizing the INEE Minimum Standards in your work.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting and technical and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tool development, collating feedback from review groups, and coordinating publication processes

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Strong preference for candidates with additional fluency in INEE languages - Arabic, French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese
• Flexible work attitude, able to follow direction and work independently across a fast-paced, virtual work environment and develop positive relationships with locally and remote based staff.
• Self-directed, able to independently set priorities and problem solve with minimal guidance; and support any range of projects at a moment’s notice.
• Good critical thinking; ability to synthesize a wide scope of information.
• Demonstrated facilitation skills including the use of participatory methodologies for in-person and virtual meetings and events
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a variety of relationships.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to handle complex projects under tight timeframes.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills, with experience of drafting briefs, reports, proposals and syntheses.
• In-depth understanding of INEE’s mission, vision, and functions
