Adevia Health Africa is seeking to engage a mid-level dynamic, individual who is well versed with the current trends in HR Management, Employee Relations, Organization Development, Kenyan Labour Laws, and Industrial Relations. The individual will offer direct support to the Director of Operations, Office Administrator and provide support to Adevia Health staff while adhering to the company's values and principles
Responsibilities
• Preparing draft correspondences;
• Reviewing job descriptions and preparing job advertisements; Coordinating the recruitment process;
• Organizing Staff induction and onboarding programs;
• Writing pay change advice and advice accounts section on staff salary changes, transfers, appointments, promotions, and increments for timely processing
• Maintaining and updating the staff compliment to ensure records of the establishment are kept up to date;
• Processing salaries, allowances, benefits, and final dues;
• Updating the HR information systems data and issuing of staff Identity Cards.
• Collating information relating to recruitment and selection, appointments, training, performance management, records, and staff complement control;
• The undertaking of training needs analysis, projections, and developing training programs;
• Administering performance appraisal, collates performance-related data, analyzing and preparing related reports;
• Collating data in relation to HIV/AIDS Prevention, gender, disability mainstreaming, Alcohol, Drug, and Substance Abuse, Occupational, Safety, and Health Act;
• Implementing decisions made by the company management to ensure issues raised are addressed and in a timely manner.

Skills specific to the role
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Interest in current trends in HR
• Excellent typing skills, proficiency in MS Office, G-suite, and task management tools.
• A high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism and capable of working under minimum supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

Academic qualification
• Bachelor's degree or diploma Human Resource, Social Sciences or its equivalent
• Valid Membership with IHRM is an added advantage
