Kinangop Dairy Limited (KDL) based in Ndunyu Njeru, Kinangop, about 120Km from Nairobi is a rapidly growing Company specialized in the Processing and packaging of milk and other high value products has the following two exciting openings for candidates who desire to make a difference and will be stationed at the Company's head office at Ndunyu Njeru.
1. Human Resources & Administration Manager (HR & Admin Manager) The HR & Admin Manager shall be a member of the senior management team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate shall ensure effective & efficient management of the human resources functions and administrative duties including but not limited to management of all regulatory requirements for business transactions such as permits and licenses by the National and County Governments, insurance matters, vehicle fleet management, implementation of KDL's human resource policies and updating and implementing of all new Government legislations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The HR & Admin manager shall contribute to the formulation of the HR Strategy in line with KDL's Corporate Strategy.
• HR budgeting/monitoring,
• HR Data information systems management,
• Deployment/follow through of performance management,
• updating of HR policies and procedures,
• Training needs assessments/execution,
• HR talent recruitment retention recommendations/implementation,
• Payroll & Staff benefits management,
• Co-ordination of KDL's CSR activities,
• Statutory Compliance,
• Annual Trade permits applications,
• Administration of Company Offices (hired & own).
• Staff communications and acting as Secretary to the Board Committee in charge of Human Capital matters.
Qualifications
• The applicant must be a University Graduate in Human Resource Administration,
• Business Administration or related field from a reputable university,
• Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (HRM) in good standing with a current HR Practicing Certificate,
• Be at least 35 years old with 5 to 15 years' experience at senior management level in core areas of HR management.
• Leadership Qualities
• One should be Self-motivated, proactive change agent, able to manage - multiple priorities,
• meet deadlines,
• maintain positive and professional relationships,
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail,
• Team player,
• Outstanding oral & written communications skills and must demonstrate success in driving difficult changes in a highly complex environment.
