JOB DETAILS:
To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment in the hotel. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
• Vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings
• Empty and clean trash containers
• Make up beds and change linens as required
• Wash windows as scheduled
• Iron and press clothing and linen
• Sort, fold and put away clean laundry
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment

  Job Skills:
• Proven experience as a housekeeper or relevant role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Degree/Diploma in hospitality training
• Utalii training will be considered an added advantage
• knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
