JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist

Salary Range : 30,000 Ksh - 45,000 Ksh p.m

About the role.
The hospital is seeking to attract interested and qualified applicants to fill the position of a Hospital Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
• Overseeing safe dispensing procedures and ensuring safe drug use processes.
• Safe and accurate drug preparation techniques.
• Promoting service excellence and client satisfaction:
• Proactively engaging in follow up of client concerns and timely feedback.
• Ensuring efficient pharmacy service flow by managing turn-around-times.
• Participating in Quality Initiatives:
• Reviewing and implementing quality processes and procedures
• Effective stock monitoring for optimal stock levels
• Stock variance reporting and control
• Preparation and timely submission of expected reports such as medication error report, interventions, stock variance and client satisfaction reports.
• Working with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs
• Drugs Stock Taking
• Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs
• Ensure Patients' Safety
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.

Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university.
• Registered with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board of Kenya.
• Valid practicing Certificate
• Excellent Public Relations and Communication skills.
• Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Good knowledge of drug administration and health & safety guidelines
