Head of Shared Services (Ref. No. 131/JWIFN)
Reporting directly to the Executive Director/CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight and leadership in the planning Budgeting execution, monitoring and evaluation of all shared services back office operations in KIM. The departments and sections reporting to the position include Human Resources, ICT, Procurement and Administration .

Key duties of the position will be to:
• Oversee the development of the institute's performance management policy including the setting of departmental objectives and performance appraisal to ensure that staff achieve set targets
• Develop, review and implement the Institute's policies, procedures and practices that support attainment of efficiency and effectiveness of back office operations as well as security of KIM staff and safe custody of the KIM's fred assets/property
• Oversee development and maintenance of an effective Human Resources Information System to ensure availability of the right data for decision making
• Provide oversight to the activities of procurement staff, and oversee the procurement process to ensure conformity to existing legal frameworks
• Lead the implementation of the ICT strategy initiatives and oversee operations and system maintenance,
• Develop service level agreements (SLA) and turnaround time policies in collaboration with heads of functions.
• Formulate and develop the shared science master plan on processes to improve efficiency of activities across KIM
• Oversee implementation of ERP aimed at improving shared services and back office function
• Serve as the Secretary to the Human Resource Committee of the KM Courd take minutes and update the committee on the progress on achievement of the strategic plan.

Qualifications, experience and other requirements
• Master’s degree in business related field from a recognized institution;
• A Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resource Management or a Social Science
• A Higher Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage;
• A current practicing certificate from HRM;
• At Least 10 years work experience in Human Resource Management, preference will be given to a well-coordinated more than two functions
• Results driven person who has well developed and proven skills in leadership, problem solving and raising performance levels.
