JOB DETAILS:
The Head of Project Management Office will be an expert in project management with proven experience working with cross functional teams. He/she needs to be a self-starter who is passionate and experienced in all aspects of project management and have an impeccable attention to detail. The major role involves leading the project management team in excellent delivery of projects. .

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Define the PMO strategy and lead the design and implementation of common project management methodology, standards and tools to drive and facilitate successful delivery of projects
2. Lead the execution of projects governance, reporting and review framework to provide a holistic view of all project activities
3. Responsible for the operation, development, and improvement of team processes and SOPs necessary to support and accelerate excellent project delivery
4. Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders
5. Establish key performance indicators for project and ensure they are monitored and evaluated
6. Foster collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with project leaders and key stakeholders.
7. Assess cross-functional project team capability, provide coaching, training and support to enhance the project management capability, and improve collaborative development and project results
8. Involved in selection, induction and training of the PM team
9. Review budgets and project plans with an understanding of best practices, potential third-party capabilities, time requirements, and broader portfolio business objectives
10. Work with PMs and Team Leads to assemble the best integrated teams for each assignment
11. Set performance expectations and manage performance and development of the project management team
12. Coach, mentor and train Project Management team to ensure optimal team dynamics and individual career growth
13. Serve as the escalation point for project matters and a pivotal communication and negotiation point to the project management team

Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in IT related field
2. Professional certification in Project Management
3. Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches
4. Proven track-record of not less than five (5) years’ experience in managing complex and multi-resource projects in a similar environment
5. Facilitation, negotiation and problem resolution skills
6. Demonstrated experience and passion for team leadership, mentorship, and development of talent
7. Proactive risk management insights
