Excellent career opportunities for strategically minded people For 60 years now, the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) the national umbrella body and the voice of employers in Kenya, has played a leading role locally and internationally, articulating key concerns of employers. FKE has three regional offices in Kisumu, Nakuru and Mombasa. The Federation is now seeking to fill the following key positions with a view to strengthening its senior management team so as to provide even better value added services to its members.
Head of Finance & Procurement Af. No. 211/XFN)
This position will coordinate and ensure delivery of finance and procurement services to the technical units. The key responsibilities include formulating, implementing, maintaining and reviewing sound financial and procurement policies, procedures and systems to sustain the Federation's operations. Others include managing efficiently the Federation's budgeting process, financial accounting and reporting and advising on the financial viability of proposed investments to ensure return on investment.
Qualifications, experience and other requirements
• Degree in Business Management or its accepted equivalent, an MBA will be an added advantage;
• CPA(K) or ACCA Ill or an equivalent qualification;
• A member of ICPAK or other relevant professional body;
• 10 years work experience in Finance, Accounts and Administration, five of which must be in a relevant senior position.
