Our client is a leading property developer in the East African region with five successful projects in Kenya and one in Uganda. With extensive knowledge of the market, they aim to provide innovative, luxurious and high-quality housing infrastructure with the most unique payment plans at great pricing. They wish to recruit a senior seasoned professional for the position of Head of Finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Head of Finance will supervise all financial tasks of the company and ensure use of capital and resources beneficially.
• Provide leadership over the finance department and head all the regional team.
• Create and implement financial strategy to grow the business, be in charge of preparation and monitoring of financial strategy and projections, and investment options.
• Manage the financial reporting including monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting, among other functions.
• Manage and oversee the taxation affairs and liaise with external tax firms for specialist advice.
• Manage and oversee the cash flow and controls, prepare annual budgets, monitor individual unit budgets, and provide advisory to the Executive Leadership Team on investment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
• At least 7 years in a similar role
• Proven work experience as Head of Finance or similar role
