JOB DETAILS:
The Head of Business Analysis will provide leadership to the BA team. An ideal candidate should have excellent skills in business analysis coupled with planning and organizing skills. He/she should be innovative, creative and be conversant with best industry practices. .

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Define best practices and provide tools and templates for use by the Business Analysis team for standardized efficient output
2. Identify and implement scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to establish outcome criteria to be followed by Business Analysts
3. Plan and develop budgets for the requirements of the business analysis team
4. Allocate required resources to the business analysis team
5. Responsible for hiring and training new staff within the business analysis team as needed
6. Manage and supervise Business Analysts ensuring the team works effectively and remains highly productive
7. Set performance expectations and manage performance and development of the BA team
8. Provide leadership as well as coach, review and support learning and development within the Business Analysis team
9. Create schedule for projects, change requests and upgrades and assign to the BA team accordingly
10. Work with Project Managers to define plans for each project ensuring communication is effective at all levels
11. Partner with other stakeholder teams such as Projects, Implementation, Commercial and Finance to promote necessary analysis and collaboration for efficient delivery of projects
12. Prepare regular status reports for the department and share with relevant parties as required
13. Support execution of organization goals within the BA team by communicating the objectives of the organization clearly as well as leading the team whenever change is being implemented

Requirements
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
2. At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position and preferably working with fintechs
3. A critical thinker who challenges traditional ways of doing things

6. Excellent leadership skills
