Tullow Oil is seeking a talented, self-motivated, proactive and skilled individual of high personal integrity to fill the position of Government and External Affairs Manager Field based in Lodwar.
The job holder will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining key relationships with field based stakeholders, particularly within the Turkana County Government and Turkana- based NGO and CSOs to facilitate the development of the industry and support Tullow Kenya’s engagement with these stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrable experience of working in senior external-facing government relationsfpublic affairs roles on behalf of a global international corporate organisation
• Proven ability to plan and implement stakeholder engagement programmes, including project management experience
• Detailed understanding of how to build and maintain stakeholder relationships in a challenging business environment
• Experience working with government both pre- and post-devolution
• Experience working in Arid & Semi-Arid Areas would be preferred
