General Manager – Sales
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Location – Nairobi
Our company, in the logistics and telematics industry wishes to recruit and visionary and focus driven, the General Manager-Sales will oversee sales and Operations of the Company across all of Kenya. GM Sales’ primary responsibilities is to grow revenue by directly leading sales activities across the region.
As the business grows, the GM Sales will put forth growth trajectory cases for additional resource to support the business. Additionary, the GM with collaboration with the MD to develop strategic plans for business growth based on short term goals based on short term goals, communicating these goals to the groups and guiding them to success.
General Managers Roles and Responsibilities
• Oversee day – to – day revenue operations of the company across all regions
• Ensure the creation and implementation of a monthly, quarterly and annual revenue strategy designed to grow the business
• Coordinate monthly budget and consistently meet desired margin targets
• Enhance revenue performance by developing effective business development strategies, systems and procedures
• Accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Seek opportunities for expansion and growth by building new business relationships
• Provide leadership at all levels of the satellite Offices
• Communicate and embody the company’s vision and values
• Build up the sales team but continually recruiting, interviewing, hiring and managing the new teams
• Evaluate employees and provide continuous coaching and support as needed
• Ensure overall delivery of quality service offerings to customers
Qualifications
• Proven experience in management position especially in Banking, Car Tracking and Asset financing.
• Strong decision-making capabilities
• Proven experience to set and exceed financial
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to exceed and excel
• Experienced team builder and leader
• High Sales acumen
• Outstanding judgement, critical thinking and excellent communication skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent relationship management
• English fluency required
• Degree/Diploma in sales and management, banking or any other business-related course
