Energio Verda Africa (EVA) is a geospatial mapping, GIS, and renewable energy consultancy. We provide consultancy services for public, private, and charitable clients across a range of industries, offering complete geospatial analysis, project planning, and implementation services. We deliver innovative and cost-effective digital solutions utilizing geospatial techniques. Our multi-layer analysis techniques allow our clients to visualize large and complex datasets in high-quality maps. We also develop and support medium- and large-scale renewable energy projects, including utility-scale IPPs, rural electrification projects, commercial/industrial deployments, and utility network planning. We have best-in-class technical expertise in solar PV, wind, and hydro projects, but also support a range of other technologies. We also maintain an extensive global partner network, which enables us to offer our clients a wider range of technical capabilities.   Job Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in engineering, science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience post graduate degree;
• Highly experienced in national electrification rollout program planning in developing country contexts, setting up and using state of the art GIS-based rapid planning platform tools of spatial analysis to optimize priority sequencing of MV grid extensions, and LV reticulation and connections;
• Extensive knowledge and experience in renewable energy technology, off-grid electrification technologies, and delivery options of off-grid electrification (including mini-grids, individual residential or institutional systems);
• Proven knowledge and expertise in electricity demand projections, indicative least-cost economic analysis;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
