Job details:
A Leading Kenyan Manufacturer of Flexible packaging for the East African Market is seeking for a Kenyan Citizen to fill the Position of Flexible Packaging Technologist based in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide suitable packaging solutions through recommendations in areas of raw materials composition, technology, process and application.
• Effective Production Planning-ability to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, production equipment capabilities, and assembly methods.
• Tracking progress and review of project tasks to ensure meeting project deadlines with desired productivity.
• Up—to-date of latest flexible packaging technological advancements and provide recommendations to Management on future investments.
• Extensive knowledge of KAIZEN, BRC Systems and other Standards and Continuous improvement processes.
• Strong Analytical, Communication & Team leadership Skills

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent understanding of the technical aspects of flexible packaging materials, components and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent Skills in Blown film, Roto Gravure Printing, Flexo Cl printing Operations, lamination solvent base & solvent free and & pouch—making machinery and processes.
• A Minimum of 15 Years of Experience in Flexible Packaging with at least 5 Years in Similar Position.

Academic Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Printing & Packaging Technology Polymer Technology from a reputable Institution.
• Qualifications in Industrial and Quality Management will have an added advantage
