Main Purpose
• Execute as First officer on AMREF Flying Doctors mission flights which include aero medical evacuations, emergency and medical outreach flights or other company flights with the highest of safety standards ;
• Report and be accountable to the Flight Captain on the safe and efficient conduct of the flight. In the event of incapacitation of the Captain, the First Officer/Co-pilot will assume Captain responsibilities. ;
Key Experience
1. Pilot In Command Time, 100 hours;
2. Multi-Engine Time,50 hours;
3. Night Flying,25 hours;
4. Turbine time, 100 hours;
5. Current Class 1 with No restrictions;
6. Class 5 english proficiency ;

Skills Required
1. •Have good understanding of Kenyan Civil Aviation Regulations ;
2. •Previous experience with aero medical flights is an added advantage;
3. ICT Knowledge ;
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills;

Competencies
1. A professional pilot with good work ethics, integrity and compassionate;
2. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills ;
3. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic environment. ;
4. High degree of discipline and strong team player;
Years Of Experience
• Total Flying hours of 1000;
• One (1) year flying experience within Eastern Africa tarmac and unprepared airfields ;
• •Must hold a valid Kenyan CPL with Multi engine instrument rating ;
