JOB DETAILS:
Role Purpose
The role holder will support the Regional Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in providing professional guidance in Financial Planning and Analysis, supporting the Business Managers and the Commercial Finance Manager in providing assurance on the underlying factors impacting the financial performance for the Cultural Engagement (CE) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The post holder will be in charge of analysing and interpreting long - and short - term financial and operational plans through management reporting, analysis and interpretation of financial trends, impact assessment in conjunction with the Regional Head in order to enable informed decisions.

This post will be part of the SSA regional FP&A team that is dispersed across the region. The role will support the Cultural Engagement SBU within the region, in particular with planning, financial management, management accounting and risk management processes through:
• Efficient and effective corporate process compliance and financial reporting
• Proactive set up of all new programme structures and reporting hierarchies on SAP
• Rigorous financial and risk management and oversight of processes
• Robust financial planning and forecasting of all SSA CE activities

Role specific knowledge and experience:
The main essential knowledge and experience points that we are looking for you to evidence are:
• Degree level educational qualification in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Operational financial management and/or management accounting.
• Delivery of results within a complex international structure and reporting to tight deadlines
• Experience working in virtual teams
