JOB DETAILS:
Vetlab Sports Club is a leading private members Club in Nairobi priding itself in offering members and their families leading edge amenities including an 18-hole championship golf course .

Finance Manager
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will provide overall leadership to the finance function, enforce financial policies, procedures & processes and manage financial operations of the club

Responsibilities
• Provide useful financial insights in formulating and executing the clubs strategic plan
• Maintain a robust system of accounting and book keeping of all transactions and assets.
• Prepare and analyze accurate monthly and quarterly financial and management reports.
• Implement set vigorous internal control systems and ensuring compliance to system.
• Lead in strategic data analysis, research and modeling for the Club's Board and management.
• Lead development of the annual and project/departmental budgets and monitor and track implementation variances.
• Recommend and report upon benchmarks against which to measure organizational perfomance.
• Capture the cost of all services projects and products to ensure a positive return on investment
• Track the Club's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
• Supervise, motivate and provide leadership to the finance department team and for team and individual's optimal performance.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory and tax regulations including international accounting standards
• Ensure timely and successful completion of internal and external audits.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/ Economics Must be a Certified Accountant and member of ICPAK
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior position in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Excellent busi
