JOB DETAILS:

Essential Duties
• Develop a standard project management template and keep each project folder up to date.
• Develop project GANTT charts and track and report on progress to the Head of Facilities.
• Liaise with the project team to track and report on project timelines, expected completion dates, and outstanding action items.
• Document weekly project meetings to review the work plan, the progress of works, requests for information, change orders, material inspections, and other construction-related activities.
• Assist the project team with documentation and filing of reports in a timely manner.
• Advise the Project Engineer and Hospital management of any concerns and propose recommendations for improvements or changes required.
• Tracking budget vs actuals based on all costs associated with the project.
• To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

Education/Experience Requirements
• Certifications in one or more aspects of project management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project or other project management software (Odoo Project, Asana).
• Minimum of five (5) years of building construction project experience.
• Experience in hospital / healthcare construction is preferred.
• Background check will be required, if shortlisted.
• Proficient in English: Speech and Written Communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of the construction project requirements.
• Ability to update and maintain documentation.
• Ability to develop standard templates, dashboards and progress reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and develop a list of recommendations to improve project management.
