OOur client, National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) is a state corporation established by under the Act no S of 1998 whose mandate is to provide accessible, affordable. sustainable and quality social health insurance. In order to enhance institutional capacity to deliver strategy, NHIF is seeking to recruit results driven and highly motivated individuals to fill the following position;
15. Executive Secretary Ref. NHIF/ES/10/2018
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will be responsible for providing administrative support to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient and effective management of CEO’s office, agenda and diary;
- Manage and coordinate visits of high level officials and business contacts;
- Maintain accurate and up to date contacts database and proper filing of documents and communications; and
- Supervise staff in the CEO's office.
Person Specifications
- Be a holder of a Bachelors Degree in any of the following fields; Secretarial Studies, Business, Management or Public Administration:
- A Masters Degree in any of the above, or related fields from a university recognized in Kenya will be an added advantage; and
- Have knowledge and relevant experience of not less than eight(8) years in a secretarial role with three (3) years of providing secretarial services for C-suite level and/or senior level executive in an organization of similar size as NHIF.

- Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
- Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board;
- Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority:
- Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission; and
- A report from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau.
