JOB DETAILS:
Ethnographic Specialist

Key responsibilities:
• Field operations management.
• Write and Review all topline.
• Manage and develop Field Agents and Editors.
• Brief, Liaise and review all editing requirements.
• Review/Present final report
• Manage admin processes throughout.
• Attend Briefings where possible.
• Client feedback and meetings.
• Managing Additional Ethnographer.
• Managing Editors.
• Liaising w Project Managers throughout.
• Constant collaboration with project Managers throughout.
• Proposal wiring.
• Client liaison throughout
• Ensure quality projects delivered on time.
• Manage additional Field Agents.
• Conduct field interviews.
• Writing impactful research toplines.
• Ensuring tight time management.
• Meeting all clients needs.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Co-operative internal process.
• Client satisfaction.
• Briefing and monitoring all ethnography work.
• Ensuring ethnography outputs are detailed and thorough.
• Happy clients who bring more future business.

Education required
• School: Matric/ Grade 12
• Post –Grad Degree in Psychology or Social Sciences.

Experience required
• Work experience: minimum of 10 years experience in field Ethnography.
• Experience at project management level.
• Experience with high level client servicing .
• Experience with documentary style video creation.
• Experience with multimedia editing skills and packages.

Additional requirements:
• Good people management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with the Multimedia , video capturing , Sound Equipment, Video compression and outputs.
• Ability to learn innovative new hardware and software packages e.g 360 camera

Level of Education:
Postgraduate Degree
