JOB DETAILS:
The British Institute in Eastern Africa seeks to appoint a suitably experienced individual to the post of Driver / Mechanic and Equipment Officer (DMEO), to be based at the BIEA's Nairobi office on Laikipia road, Kileleshwa. This is a full-time fixed term 1-year contract in the first instance. Applicants should be prepared to spend time working in the field away from Nairobi.
Further Particulars: Gross salary of 48,000 KES will be offered, plus benefits. .

• Demonstrated experience of driving 4-wheel drive vehicles in difficult terrain
• Demonstrated experience of maintaining 4-wheel drive vehicles
• Industry standard certificates to demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience with vehicles Excellent English written and oral communication skills and have basic IT skills
• Applicants should have the right to work in Kenya
• Experience of driving and maintaining Land Rovers
• Experience of driving international groups for longer periods, outside of Nairobi Experience of managing stores of equipment and parts
